JOSEPH STRADWICK
General Manager
A quantity surveyor and experienced construction project manager, Joseph Stradwick has enjoyed a 30+ career delivering timely and cost-effective projects. He started as a quantity surveyor and soon moved into project management, managing design-and-build projects in Auckland and Sydney. Joseph set up his own commercial construction company in 2002 and worked on a wide range of design-and-build projects, including care homes and public buildings valued at over $30 million. Joseph sold the company in 2017 and has since worked as an independent project manager, specialising in waste and recycling projects. Highlights include constructing a new transfer station in Hamilton, involving civil works and an automated weighbridge system. Joseph has been in the trenches and understands what it takes to deliver projects successfully. His hands-on expertise in cost control, risk management, and programming are invaluable in his General Manager’s role. Joseph’s mantra is that no question is a bad question, and his first-rate communication and leadership skills ensure everyone is on the same page. I enjoy all types of saltwater fishing and golf. These hobbies offer me a great balance to the fast-paced nature of my work and allow me to recharge.
BEN REEVES
Project Manager
With over two decades of experience in the construction industry, Ben Reeves began his career as a teenager building houses with his grandfather in Florida and Georgia. His passion for creating and problem-solving led him to start his career as a Design Manager for a developer, then moving on to commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and higher education design and construction contract management. He transitioned into the role of Project Manager for a wide variety of commercial project types and became a licensed architect in the USA. His career eventually brought him to New Zealand, where he found his place at Drive Project Management. Ben is known for his detailed approach, honesty, and genuine care for his clients' projects. He believes in adding value to every project, ensuring smooth processes and overcoming obstacles. One of his achievements was sourcing and restoring a historic bell for a school project, which now hangs proudly in its tower. Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his family, being on the water, mountain biking, volleyball and being active in his church community.
ANDY SUTTON
Owner & Director
Andy has forged a successful background across both on site project and strategic development roles on large scale residential and commercial developments across the globe. After 21 years of hands-on experience working for developers, builders, project managers, consultants and contractors, Andy established Drive Project Management. Andy's wealth of experience allows existing and prospective clients to have the confidence they require in partnering and delivering the developments they have entrusted to Drive. Outside the day-to-day hustle of project management, Andy throws himself around the tennis court, has the odd swing of golf and loves hanging out with his three kids.
BRUCE MATHESON
Project Manager
Bruce has 35 years industry experience in NZ and the UK and was Ministry of Works trained in Auckland before entering Commercial Construction. He brings management experience across both commercial and residential sectors, from design co-ordination, procurement, contract negotiation and project delivery. Key projects include the BDO Tower AKL, Crowne Plaza Hotel & Car Park AKL, INZ UK Headquarters and Manufacturing Facility UK & Pathlab TGA, After hours, Bruce is heavily involved with Surf Lifesaving and is National Event Referee, NZ Surf Boat Team Manager, a NZ Representative on ILS and a Life Member of Eastern Region. His local club is Omanu SLSC.
JUDAH PULLYN
Project Manager
With a family legacy in construction spanning three generations, Judah began his career at 14, working alongside his uncle in rural Australia. By 21, he was managing significant projects in Auckland, including a heritage home renovation and a resort rebuild on Waiheke Island. In 2015, he founded his own residential construction company inTauranga, which grew into a reputable business with a dedicated team. After a stint working on luxury homes on the Gold Coast, he returned to Tauranga to support his family and now brings his extensive experience to Drive Project Management. Passionate about client relationships and delivering excellence, Judah is committed to ensuring that every project runs smoothly and meets its milestones. Outside of work, he enjoys surfing and mountain biking in the Bay of Plenty.
SIMON ROGERSON
Project Manager
Simon has 34 years industry experience in NZ and the UK and has delivered over 100 home during the last 10 years as owner operator of a building franchise Committed to delivering a quality product on time, on budget, and to the satisfaction of the client, Simon lead’s a team by example which ensures the ongoing success of the project. Out of the office, Simon enjoys walking, mountain biking and maintaining and fixing anything mechanical, including building and driving off road trucks.
JESS MALLETT
Office & Project Administrator
Jess has over 16 years' experience in the industry, Jess joined Drive from a Civil Engineering Administration background. Jess plays a crucial role in the management and execution of projects. Her responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks assisting the project team which contribute to the successful planning, coordination, monitoring, and completion of projects. In her downtime Jess spends it hanging out with her family, including her Husband and two young kids, she loves to read a good book and spend time outdoors.
